Follow Up Sessions
What’s Included? What’s Involved?
I will aim to get your bike fitted as close to ideal as possible in the original fit. This isn’t always achievable as some issues only become apparent after 30 minutes or more on the bike. When there’s an issue or you feel some fine tuning might improve things further, come back for a follow up.
If you have new components installed and would like them checking, come back in. You may need your hood position adjusting if you have new handlebars as this will not be checked by the bike mechanic who fits them. If you fit your components yourself, you may still want me to adjust them, so you can concentrate on how each position change feels.
As explained in my documents, it takes three weeks for your body to adapt to new positions. If something is obviously wrong, contact me and come back immediately. If you want to have your position further optimised or tweaked, please leave it at least three weeks before coming back in.
The follow up is free if you come back to me within three months of your original fit. If you are over this time but have a reason for a delay e.g. physiotherapy treatment, send me a message and we can discuss it. It may be included or you may need to pay a refit charge if it’s been a lot longer.
